Askewville Baptist Church

We had an awesome time on September 18th when we traveled to Askewville Baptist Church. I spoke a lot about on our Facebook page but I would be remiss if I didn't mention them here as well.  The church was beautiful and so was the spirit of the people who attend there.  I believe we could have kept on singing most of the night because we were so inspired and spirit filled that night.  We can only hope they were as blessed and we were by sharing with them!

New Video!

We recorded this video at Core Point Chapel.  It is a brand new song and a fun arrangement for us as we combined two classic songs.

Core Point Chapel and a church in need due to Hurricane Irene

What a wonderful group of people at Core Point Chapel. We had the best time singing for them. They did a great job of singing along too. We laughed and we sang and most importantly we praised the name of the Lord. They had a little "snack" afterwards and that was the cause 3n1 to skip dinner all together. Hurricane Irene did some major damage in that part of the state. There is another church located near there that was totally flooded. All the pews, bibles, hymnals and just about everything else is gone. I will get the exact name of the church by tomorrow but if anyone is interested in helping them out, please let us know. I have the address that people can send donations to help out. This church only has a small part of the fellowship hall to put some chairs to hold Sunday service. Join 3N1 in helping, if you can.

Village Green..... What a great place to sing.

Singing at Village Green today was fantastic.  We really do love singing for those folks.  They were singing along with us and I do believe we were the ones being blessed.  We can't wait to go back.   We are headed up north tomorrow so pray for us as we head out to Core Point Chapel.

My Bad!

I was contacted by one of our followers just the other day and she let me know that I have been lacking in putting the times of our concerts on our blog or on our facebook page.  You know what?  She is right.  I hereby promise to make sure I give timely and accurate information on places and times  for each concert.  I will start by letting everyone know that we have two concerts this weekend.   We will be a the Village Green Assisted Living Center on Saturday, September 10 at 10:30 to worship and have some great fun with the people there.  Then on Sunday, September 11 we will be at the Core Point Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Core Point Chapel NC.   Our starting time is 6PM.  Pray for us as we travel this weekend that we are safe and hopefully no flat tires like the last time.

On the road again

After we get through this Labor Day Holiday, 3N1 will be on the road the next 2 weekends.  First on September 10 we will be singing at Village Green in Fayetteville.  We always look forward to  sharing with them and then on September the 11 we will be at Core Point Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Core Point Chapel NC. Hurricane Irene gave them a jolt and we hope to go down there and lift their spirits as we worship with them that Sunday night.  Keep us in your prayers as we travel.

Coming Soon!

Hi Everyone!   I know it has been a while  since we have been able to post anything so I thought I would take a moment to let you know we have two concerts coming up at the end of July.  We have one in Clinton on July 23rd and one in Fayetteville on July 31.   I will get the names of the locations locked down along with addresses so any of you who are able to attend can come and join us for an evening of fun and worship. We have been working on a new acapella song for the past couple of practices and it is coming along very nicely. It is almost ready to unveil to the public.  We also want to take a moment to thank everyone for their support is our effort to follow God's will and praise Him in song every time we get a chance. God has really blessed us!

Whispering Pines

We went to sing at the Whispering Pines assisted Living Center last Thursday. I am not sure who was blessed more, us or them.  There were about 15 or 16 residents in the activity room where we sang. When we started singing are old hymns, they did not hold back. It touched my heart to hear them sing with such heart and enthusiasm.  This was one of those nights that we needed to sing God's word and we couldn't have hand picked a better bunch of people to share with.  We even asked to join them in prayer for their activity director , who is in the hospital.  After that , they asked us to sing "This Little Light of Mine" again and we were all too happy to oblige them.  It was one of those night when God shows you what he does with the gifts he gives us. We all have so much going on in our lives that we have a hard time trying to find a quiet place to hear God speak to us. He was speaking to us as Whispering Pines.

Easter Sunrise Service

The Easter Sunrise service at Reilly Road was very moving.  The sun had just come over the horizon and the birds were singing and just being outside was a wonderful backdrop for morning worship. The sermon was wonderful by Rev. Rogers Randall.  He was preaching with about 40 lbs of chains draped over his shoulders. It made for quite an object lesson.  As we do on Easter, 3n1 put on their Sunday best and even though Steve's computer was trying to develop a personality of it's own,  we made it through and were very glad they had asked us to participate.  Can't wait to do it again.

Sunrise Service At Reilly Road Presbyterian Church

Singing at Village Green today was a blessing for us. We so enjoy singing for the folks there and they are simply wonderful. We can't wait to go back. Tomorrow morning bright and early, 7am, we sing at Reilly Road Presbyterian Church. This is the 3rd year we have been a part of their sunrise service. Isn't great that we get to celebrate an empty tomb?
Jesus could have called down angels at any time but he didn't out of His love for us. The picture above is from The revival we did at Reilly Road. We have such an awesome time when we visit, and it is great for me to get to share with my home church.  Happy Easter everyone.

Easter Season is busy

Even with the Technical glitch , Our time at Cape Fear Valley Hospital was a blessing. We really enjoy being able to be a part of their services . Today, it is on to Village Green at 10:30am and then on to Reilly Road Presbyterian Church tomorrow morning for their Easter Sunrise Service at 7am. Happy Easter everyone!

Village Baptist was awesome.

First ,  I would like to thank everyone for their prayers for Mike.  Mike not only made it to the concert tonight, after gall bladder surgery Thursday afternoon, but he was able to sing with us too.  The Lord really blessed us with healing Mike at such a pace that he could be the vital part of our ministry that he is.   Then the Lord blessed us with a great group of men from Village Baptist Church.   They made it so easy to sing our hearts out and spread the word that Jesus loves us and no matter what we do, He is still there.  3N1 did not get to sample the food tonight due to it is hard to sing on a full stomach, but Steve's wife, Mary, did say the venison chili was awesome.  Stay tuned to the blog and our Facebook page to see where we might pop up next.  God is Good All the Time!

Village Baptist "Wild Game" night getting closer

We are just a few days away from our time with a great group from Village Baptist Church , here in Fayetteville. As we get closer, please keep us and Mike in your prayers. He is scheduled to go under the knife on Thursday and he plans to sing on Saturday night.  At this point in time it is all about prayer and faith.  Keep us all in your prayers.  We look forward to having a great time at Village Baptist as we know that God will always find a way. We do serve a powerful and mighty God.

Prayer needed for Mike

Hey Everyone,    3N1 is needing a little help. Mike will be going in for gall bladder surgery later this month. We need all you prayer warriors out there to send up a special prayer for the success of the surgery and a quick recovery.  Every little prayer adds up and God tells us that he hears them all.   Mike,  we are all praying for you and your family.

Village Baptist Church is next on the schedule

We are excited about our next concert.  3N1 is headed to Village Baptist Church, in Fayetteville NC, on January 22nd.  It is their Wild Game Night and we can't wait to participate in this event.  We have been looking forward to this date since we put it on the schedule.  We hope to see you there.

First United Baptist Church Of Grays Creek was awesome

Things went very well today at the First United Baptist Church in Grays Creek. It was a wonderful service and the pastor gave a great message on why not to worry. I should have been taking notes. :o) Happy New Year from 3N1.
