First United Baptist Church Of Grays Creek

3N1 are headed to the First United Baptist Church of Grays Creek this Sunday. We met the Pastor at Village Green right after we finished our Christmas program there.  He said he was sorry he had missed the program and would have like to hear us sing. We handed him one of our business cards and that is when he introduced himself. He asked us to sing a song for him so we did our acapella version of "It Is Well".  People walking by the windows of the dinning area all stopped and listened as we sang.  We could see the look on each others faces as we sang.  We forgot where we were and it was all about singing for the Lord at that point.  He asked if we were available on January 2nd.  We were available and we hope to see you there for our first concert of 2011.  The church is located at 2002 Chickenfoot rd. in Fayetteville.

Here is one of the songs we did at Reilly Road Presbyterian Church.  We just wanted to share with those who were not able to make any of our Christmas concerts.  Merry Christmas everyone!

So Far So Good

We learned a couple of things from our first Christmas concert of the season.  #1 is how to spell Campbellton.  I have been misspelling it from the beginning and I do apologize for that. #2 is you always have to be flexible with the schedule. We got a late start due to the group in front of us on the schedule but that was OK. We were able to set up in 15 minutes and start the concert.  There was a lot of people there and they were all smiling and singing with us.  OK maybe one of them wasn't smiling but I don't think we had anything to do with it. We didn't have much time to meet with the residents after we sang due to we had to clear out so dinner could get started. Dinner is important to me so I think I can safely assume it is important to the folks at Campbellton too!  We greatly enjoyed out time there and hope to be back soon.  Next week is packed full if singing with 2 concerts on Saturday and one on Sunday morning.  Feel free to contact us if you every have any questions or comments. We'll see you soon.
